Product Overview 

The Teledyne BlueView BV3100 is a complete, modular deployment system designed to turn any patrol boat or vessel of opportunity into a high-performance search-and-recovery platform. By mounting a 2D forward-looking sonar onto a digital Pan & Tilt (P&T) unit at the end of a telescopic pole, it allows a single operator to conduct 360° underwater inspections without the need for an ROV or a diver.

System Components

The BV3100 is typically sold as a "turnkey" kit that includes:

• Digital Pan & Tilt Unit: Allows the sonar to be rotated and tilted remotely from a laptop, providing a full spherical search area.
• Telescopic Pole Mount: An adjustable aluminum pole (extending to ~77 inches) that secures to the boat's gunwale using a quick-release clamp.
• 2D Imaging Sonar: Compatible with various BlueView M-Series or P-Series sonars (most commonly the 450 kHz for range or 900 kHz for resolution).
